Ultimate Canine Care is a family owned and operated business that has been serving Alamance County and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. However, we have boarded and groomed pets from many different states in the country. In 2003, we built a state-of-the-art facility, which sits on 10 acres of land.

Our entire staff prides itself on offering quality service in treating every pet like it was our own.

We offer: Pet Boarding, Dog Grooming, Dog Training, and Dog Day Care.

Ultimate Canine Care is the culmination of many years of hard work, passion and education in the dog and pet world. Our business is a direct reflection of who we are and what we do.

We have been actively involved in the Alamance Kennel Club for over 20 years and the Humane Society of Alamance County. Mike Zimmerman has been a member of the Steering Committee Board for Alamance Community College for the past four years. This role allows him to assist in the review of the Animal Care & Management Technology course to help determine the future curriculum and direction and offer improvements in the curriculum.

Mike Zimmerman, owner of Ultimate Canine Care, is a lifelong resident of North Carolina. In 1978, we purchased our first show dog, Akita, Champion Frerose's Nikima of Kim Sai. Since that time, we have trained, bred, and shown over 20 dogs to their championship titles in both obedience and conformation.

We welcome new customers and their pets to become a part of Ultimate Canine Care.

We offer Certified Groomers, and Pet Boarding in a large, beautiful facility in which your pet will be treated with love and affection.

Our training is top notch and our Dog Day Care offers your pet the best of care.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8 am - 6 pm

Wednesday:  8 am - 1 pm

Saturday:  8 am - 12 pm

Sunday:  3 pm - 5 pm
